I have had a two burner and grill Plastimo Neptune 2500 stove on my launch for the past 8 years. The burners have begun to crap out, so about time for an overhaul.
I purchased the stove new of RFD (now Survivetech) the NZ agents for Plastimo.
You guessed, it they have no spare parts for the stoves etc. and not interested in my enquiry.
Anyone know anyone who may have some Plastimo stove burners available.
I am looking for new burner caps (single screw) and will also purchase rings if available.
There maybe a gas fitter who does boats and RVs who may have some in parts box. Phone numbers etc.
Need a working stove for Easter, just to make a cup of tea.

Might check if any of the other burner caps off a different Plastimo Neptune model will fit.

Hi PJC
Take it to your nearest friendly gas fitter. He should be able to make one for you. Some gas fitters will require the stove to test it before letting you reinstall.
I found getting Plastimo parts impossible here in NZ... so purchased a new stove.
Our marine industry should provide better service

Just an observation that under the consumer guarantees act suppliers have a legal obligation to have reasonable availability of parts.  If they don't you can stick it to them in disputes tribunal.

Replacing, repair gas lines will need certification.. similar to fitting/ repairing a tank lines in a caravan boat, car or house .

in saying that making up gas lines is not hard if have a flare roller.
All lines joins need to be pressure tested with soapy water.
Replace the jet with a blank

But if not cerfied, the insurance issues, and beyond that if ppl get hurt.
