Replacing, repair gas lines will need certification.. similar to fitting/ repairing a tank lines in a caravan boat, car or house .

in saying that making up gas lines is not hard if have a flare roller.
All lines joins need to be pressure tested with soapy water.
 Replace the jet with a blank

But if not cerfied, the insurance issues, and beyond that if ppl get hurt.

Just an observation that under the consumer guarantees act suppliers have a legal obligation to have reasonable availability of parts.  If they don't you can stick it to them in disputes tribunal.


its about 5 yrs old and I have no idea where purchased. Brought new olives and 6mm copper tube + new nuts. All fired up working well,cost $12.00. Take it to your nearest friendly gas fitter. He should be able to make one for you. Some gas fitters will require the stove to test it before letting you reinstall.
