The 77SJH is rated for 110g lures, the 74PG 130g.......it also has a softer action than the 74PG.

Mark i have fished both and the lure weights are different but not noticable BUT the 77sjh has more backbone and is rated PE5 whereas the 74pg is rated PE4 . Have you fished both!Ying Yang
