Cheers Sam did you think that because of the friction created by the holes in the head? My theory is that friction on the head is a good thing so the water grabs onto it. The head of the lure is always going to travel as smoothly as your rod movement. As for the tail I reckon no friction is a must if you want the back to slide around loosely. Just a theory though. Hope to be field testing around Tutukaka sometime shortly after Aug 6th. Might have to cheat and anchor up, then burley something chronic to bring the few kings that are around closer to me. |
