The lures we think have the best action might be different to what fish think and in this case I'd take the fishes opinion any day <img src="https://www.fishing.net.nz/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" alt="LOL" title="LOL" /><br><br><br>]]>

My theory is that friction on the head is a good thing so the water grabs onto it. The head of the lure is always going to travel as smoothly as your rod movement.<br><br>As for the tail I reckon no friction is a must if you want the back to slide around loosely.
