Not the ultimate but this works for me.

The board flips over to give a flat surface for filleting.

The whole unit lifts off when the ski pole is raised.

To me a good bait board would have a retainer at the back so that a knife wont slip out. Like the ridge in the custom board above but a little higher, that one looks like it is there to retain softbait containers. They could also go on the side. It would also have a removable cutting board. I saw a pic recently on fishing.net of a really wide bb, that looked pretty cool.

yeah they are a good idea i stole off matts itm centre console. its a very functional bait board. the removable cutting surface is a good idea to esp. when it comes to cleaning after a bloody bait mission

yeah i do mainly with the drink holders, the alternative is to use the railblazer equivalent that doesnt require drilling a 50mm hole in your bait board...
