forecast for us is SE 55knts tomorrow  - where the hell is the SE coming from??..SE off a low from the north, unheard of!!..looking at the isobar map we getting N/NE
 
 
changing to this
 
if you can see 55knts SE in here then good on you!!
 
and what the hell are are we doing getting lows from the north in winter??..normally they come from the tazzie or lower..
 
but hey..im going fishing..stuff them they got it wrong..its gonna be NE and lots of it..

it about 3 to 5kts here at the moment, radio is talking about worst storm in 10yrs??? they say 120k winds should hit nth cape tomorrow morning, as all good men do i have pulled out of my trip puka fishin, oh well it is the weekend after all.....since when is the weather any good on a weeked...............

just got an email from civil defence warning of high winds and power cuts for the auckland and coromandel..must be pretty bad or something..best i clear a spot in the garage for the car..

As much as I love V8's, I just hope the fishing shows are all go tomorrow AND that the power doesn't go off.
