Haven't posted any lure builds lately but with my latest batch in the drying cupboard I can introduce

Marx: Inception LOL

I had originally named them concept but someone on 360T has already claimed it. I'm open to name suggestions, not completely sold on inception.... the other name  had was rush

All those name have been chosen to suit these latest lures.

I’ve developed what I believe is a new concept for stickbaits (happy to be told otherwise if its been done before)

You'll see in the photos a hole in the top of their head and holes on the side. When lure is worked water flows into top of head pushing air bubbles out through side holes. When lure surfaces on pause the water drains out through side holes and then repeat!

So basically the designs effect is a stick bait with a quick and wide reaching action and a bubble trail that comes from inside the lure and out through the gill plate area mimicking distressed escaping baitfish. I’ve made some variations in the lures but they are all 180mm and around 70g of weight.

I'll add some video of them in action soon but for now they are still drying

Unfortunately what I don’t have the painting skill to match my imagination. I was hoping to really blend in the reflective tape but you can still see the sides. I was going to do scale patterns as well but ran out of patience.

Still I’m happy with the result. Haven’t given them a swim since doing so bare but if the paint and clear coat hasn’t drastically altered the action I’ll have to sheepishly self appreciate and say I’ve made some bloody good lures.

Okay chopper is a lure I made about 2months ago, its almost centre weighted and has a mouth. Caught a rat king on it when fishing last. I've just re-cleared it but didn't fix it up, hadn't taken photos before using it.

I've put UV coating on all the eyes for extra effect.

Can't wait to give them some action

I've just joined 360T and made a lengthy into explaining my method and lures I've built. I copy and pasted a bit from that thread.

Cheers boys told myself not to bother posting lure builds until the lures have caught fish...... thats when you know they work.

But I've put a lot into these and I'm totally stoked how they have turned out. Had to share.

So this is the product of your being locked in the lab and overdosing on all dose fumes. Originarly bro! Conceptualizations from Be Yon Der. Can't wait to see them swimming. Cheur. Not pretty but fully Fuu Nahhh! keep pushing that envelope.

This is what I have been waiting for... Finally Marx Thumbs Up

Too much dude, the baits look the goods and knowing your style will work too. I see you have figured out the physics side with your bait's shape.

Still need to do some final testing on my bait's, when done I will swap you one.

Here it is boys! Don't hit your head on the screen because you want to eat it LOL

This the first of four, hopefully have the rest done today. Lighting is a little difficult but you should pick it up okay, let me know if you think its worthwhile getting some better footage.

I'm sticking to the name Inception and this is Jack Mac. Best to watch on full screen mode, to do that go to link instead of watching embedded video.
