hey people im 16 and love spinning for trout just wanting to know were some good spots for spinning for trout.im new btw :)

haha yea that will work theres a reservoir i fish at your only allowed to spin fish or fly fish. there a rainbows browns and eels in there.an there are some monsters in there but its quite hard cause they just dont seem to bite even the smaller fish ive tried tobys rapalas veltics fly storm soft baits and got a wee few the released about 750 but there alot harder to catch than trout in the river. they seem to be getting used to the lures any ideas?

ive fished there but im talking about the reservoir on townslys road  its just finding a way to good spot since mums always at work i like fishing rivers alot more exciting haha

Catch a bus out to waldronville and fish the estury there on the incoming tide. There are a few locals who catch the odd large trout there. Use something small and silver to imitate whitebait / smelt at this time of year. The mouth of the Leith, whilst not too interesting produces a few fish at this time of year also. Have fun!
