I have been looking at the thunnus 8000 as a alround reel to use in deepwater up to 105m.   Liked the idea of having the baitrunner as an option for other types of fishing as well.
The other two main reels of the same size and high in drag are the stradic 8000 which puts out 12kg of drag and is cheaper than the thunnus.
And the sasagosa 8000 with 12kg drag/
Have heard good reports on the stradic, dont know anything about the others.

I was watching the guys on Milwake fishing show jigging with the Thunnus so assumed it would be ok. Yeah don't get me wrong the 9500 is a beast but it is also big so i was after something a bit smaller and lighter. I can't use an overhead as i am a south paw fisherman. Maybe i should look at a Saragosa.

I guess i could also go to another Fin Nor. Maybe the OFS7500 which still has 60 pounds of drag. Less line capacity but still a smaller beast. 

The 7500 would be a lot smaller and lighter than the 9500 though wouldn't it? I can't find any weight chart on them.
