2010-11 Gamefishing Competition Winners Clap

 

1st YFT of the season - Sponsored by Driveline

1st YFT of any size to be landed for the season.
Winner:  Marie McIver  30/12/10  18.4kg

 

1st YFT or Marlin on a jig in NZ - $250 Boulder Guiding jigging package

Jigging is defined as vertical jigging of a metal jig from a stationary boat.

 NONE CAUGHT

 

1st T&R Marlin of the season - Sponsored by Legend Lure's

Must be confirmed with tag number, photo and/or witnessed by another Fishing.net.nz member.
Winner: 1/1/11  John Rowe  Est 100kg

 

1st weighed marlin of the season – Sponsored by Peter Pakula

Must exceed 90Kg and be accompanied with an official NZSFC affiliated Club weigh sheet or other suitable verification.
Winner:  Dan Caley  31/12/10  117.4kg

 

Best Photograph or Video award - Sponsored by Blackbill Custom Lures

Awarded by the Tournament committee. Entries must be a photograph or video of a Gamefish or of Gamefishing action.

Heaviest weighed TUNA for the season - Sponsored by Peter Pakula

Being the largest Tuna caught during the competition.

Heaviest weighed Striped Marlin for the season – Sponsored by Bradley Smokers

Awarded by Bradley Smokers – 6 Rack Bradley Digital Smoker valued at $1,400.

Heaviest weighed Blue or Black Marlin or Broadbill for the season – W.S Laurie & Co

W.S Laurie & Co sponsored – Shimano Tiagra 80W Reel & Shimano Tiagra 37kg Standup Rod Package valued at $1,650.

I picked up the bradley smoker on the weekend, a bit of reading to do and it will get put to good use.
