Has anyone fished from Motuihe Island?

 Been here about a year ago with D.O.C. and seen some nice spots to fish (see below).

 The North Shore Club is having a fish (Island of the bays) on 5th Feb 06. thought I might explore my possibilities on this beautiful island.

 If anyone is interested we welcome visitors and shared cost will lighten the  the ferry/taxi boat travelling charges. If interested let me know. I will find out costs, 5-6people would be good, depart pref. Devonport warf although reg. and wieght in is at Takapuna boat ramp. (I will sought out Logistics later)

The club has a (non compulsary) $5 pool which gets devided up between the 3 biggest catches for the day. Just as an added insentive!!!

Just know there's a 20LB swimming around there.

Roath have you tried google earth??  Pretty good resolution of Rangi, Tiri, Whangaparoa, Kawau and small islands on inner side.

Could'nt get enough people together to make it economical for water taxi, ended up going to rangi with fullers, one big run but ended up with some pannies...
