Right guys, time for another casual comp for us landbased fishos and this one can include anyone in NZ.

Here is the deal:

- Fish landbased anywhere you like within NZ over labour weekend (Sat 23rd to Monday 25th October).
- Take photos of your catch and be sure to include in the photo a BLUE CLOTHES PEG to validate the fish was caught over this weekend. All entries must also be photographed with a measuring device (tape measure, ruler, mof sticker etc) to prove the length of the fish.
- Post up the pics of your best fish in this thread by Friday 29th October and the 'winners' will be announced Monday the 1st of November.
- Categories are open so feel free to photo whatever catch ya like. Keep or release...its all good!
- Entry is free so no prizes just a gloat opportunity Cool

And remember - pics or it didn't happen!

Good stuff guys.

The beauty of doing it this way is that you can enter this virtual comp whilst out fishing in other comps or during a family holiday. Dont need to fish the whole time either. Just catch a fish or 2 during the 3 days...

LOL

sweet! well timed JK Thumbs Up

another advantage is that because it's just a photo of length the fish can be released if you like aswell, though it would pay to have the measuring device and mystery item to be real handy so the fish isn't out of the water too long.

Good on ya Jade for putting this up. No plans yet for that weekend, but hoping to catch one and put one up.

I reckon we should go all species, I mean its close to Shark season right and Rays are starting to plague the shore. Just be kind enough to let release it if you dont plan to eat it, like the last one.

Sounds like I better stay up in Russell after finishing the Coastal Classic in the wee hours of Saturday morning. Only problem will be the skipper who won't let me take my fishing gear due to the extra weight.

And I take it you'll add Kahawai to the list Jade? It's all I've caught since June.

Oops, sorry, didn't see the KY on the list, eye sight has turned to crap this week.
Yes it was me, I screwed it up for everyone.
