GT rcorder hooks are great, but they are not readily available. I usually use Owner ST-76 hooks or ST-66.

When I use single hooks to release, I use assist hooks.

My omoto 22 posiedon (20 kg of drag) is a big improvement on the old tld 25s and penn senators we used to land monsters on in hauraki gulf off rakino using massive kahawai livies and towing fish out to sea with 15 hp outboards to keep em out of rocks. Legends we were then and we let em go and would never let fish flap on a hot deck like that video. Also get rid of trebble hooks, No excuse now you have inline singles. Poppers always been good on those smaller kings under 30 kg. But why not run singles on them.
