Hmmm, I've caught more and better fish on the Squidgys and they tend to stay on the jig head better too.

i used a two year old pack of squidges at the barrier last week and caught plenty of fish. Was using the pearl white and putting the paste just by the hook. I thought they worked well and they don't dry out. I like the gulp too but think the action of the squidge action works well when casting into the rocks.Suppose it comes down to what you like

Both are excellent products. Gulp seems to give more consistent results.

Squidgies with the juice smeared on work well. The juice works well on the Slug Gos too. It doesn't just wash off like half the other stuff available.

I'm liking the Slams at the mo. Fishing alongside my mate Ducky the other day who was solely using Gulp, the Slam jerkshads slayed the Gulps 8-1.
What's the cheapest type of meat? Dear balls. They're under a buck.

Much research has proven to my satisfaction that Gulp is the most effective "all round" soft bait. If you were only allowed 1 brand in your tackle bag, it would have to be that one. I have used the squidgies but haven't managed to catch a fish with one!
No half measures!

they are great value for money and catch a heap of fish as well...   lemon chickens slimey macckas and pillie are my favourites.

I'm a big fan of the Squidgies and use them all the time. I'm not a fan of Gulps for plenty of reasons BUT they catch more consistantly than Squidgies.

Of the 2 options, Gulp.
Mind you, Slams did well the otehr day, but then again so did the Mister Twister Exudes.
Hey-ho, if the fish are hungry, they'll eat a banana skin!
But... gulp.. I like the supple, flicky nature of the jerkshads, and the tail action of the swimmin'shads is great too.
Cheers, Stu.
