15kg. Good scrap. Quite rare to find one that size these days in Vtu. 8kg normal now. The fishery has been thrashed pretty hard by longliners.

Good size, they scrap well. Got an 18kg one up in Vava'u back a few years ago fishing off squeaky Going's boat. That was quite a fight out at the fad with squeaky yelling like hell when he saw the size Got a nice 209kg blue and a little sail that day as well

I havn't forgotten about it , just need to fix my sheds and build a fence  1st so , yeah there are delays ...money only goes so far , but Im just at the point where I need to get belts  so I can suss the idler on the primary drive and shim the secondary drive to get correct tension on those belts ...when I have that sorted I can paint it .
Another spanner in the works is that I now see I can get another 7hp motor with a 2:1  reduction and a centrifugal clutch  for less than the price of a decent night out ...would be better .  Damn !
I wish I was young again .... Id be heaps smarter than this time
