Mark Armistead from Extreme Sportfishing Adventures gave a very informative presentation tonight on topwater fishing (Stickbaiting and SWF) tonight at Rod and Reel in Newmarket. Thanks Mark - there's always more to learn and thanks to the guys @ Rod & Reel for putting on the evening! Clap

Here's the link to that You-tube clip on the FG knot I said I'd dig out for you. This is a quick and easy way to tie the FG knot and you can use it with any weight braid/leader combos for topwater rigs or jigging/softbaiting etc. An article in Sportfishing in 2009 discussed the testing of 50 knots for braid/mono or fluro leader connections and the FG knot was the strongest.
