Hehe... for a week long GT popping long trip I would normally carry 30-50 poppers... a range for all ocean conditions (chuggers, stickbaits, pencils) - as well accepting that you will lose a lot. I once lost 19 poppers on a  single trip in East Nusa Tengarra, Indonesia, mostly to smart GTs diving to the reef and slicing my braid.
