Hi guys

I've been building a big bait board, large enough for kingfish, but I'm having trouble finding a plastic (polyethylene) board to use as the cutting surface, big enough to fit the space I've made for it.

So you know what I'm talking about, I've built the "structure" out of 22mm ply glassed, with drain channels and lip walls on the sides and back. There's also a fancy knife holder, but that's not really relevant :) .

The cutting surface is approx 800mm by 550mm, and I want to fit a plastic chopping board on and silicone it down.

The largest I found was from the warehouse, but its not large enough. It's a little thin and looks like it'll break down quickly in the sun (this will be permanently outside).

Does anyone know where to get a piece of bait board to suit?

I put a plastic cut down insert in our current bait board..

When I silconed the 1st board in, found didnt stay well attched.. moment, sun  etc..

W use one for cooking on ..its mounted horozonallyto the gunnels.. it is not stable enough to cut bait, let alone to turn a fillet in a frying pan. So underneath have a couple custom support legs... works well.
