Synit 150 would handle 300g jigs Mathew, but that would be getting close to its limit (maybe Graeme will see this post)

If I was gonna spend $900 on a specialised jigging reel (the price of a Ocea 4000 on marine deals) I definitely would be looking at something other than Shimano (and yes I have used a Ocea Jigger)
In the depth that has been stated their would be nothing wrong with a Trinidad 16na loaded with PE5 !!

I fish 250's with it.  would jig a 300 but that is at your own risk.  200's are fine for anything up to 100m.  Its landed some big fish mate, good fun.

Heres one I found quickly, with a 300g jig :)

the 150 would easy handle 300 gram jigs, hell my synit 50 gram handles them fine
