Mel would just like to thank everyone involved with the comp, Graeme rolly and cam all top blokes Mel is just over the moon at what she has won, she went there just to have a bit of fun with all the girls only catching two kingfish before the comp and the third taking out longest female and 9th overall. I would just like to thank Graeme and cj for putting all this time into making rods so girls can get right into jigging and keep up with the boys and even bet me this time round, Mel loves her x46 now x2 , and can't wait to get back out there to give the new rod a bend ( with a new reel I've been told I have to get for the new rod ). Hope the shoulder gets better soon Graeme you were missed by all on Sunday between the two boats.

Feel your pain Daveo, we too learnt a hard lesson, we stuck it out at Mayor for both days with hard fishing, we finally scored this fish on Sunday which went 122 but in our haste to get it back in the water forgot to include the angler number in our shots also... gutted..

But hey...Thanks - great comp Roly & Cam, and congrats to all of you that placed - good effort. Great excuse for a couple of days on the water, will be back again next year for sure.. (with our angler numbers ready...)

Cheers guys,

Jake

Gutted Jake mate. But pretty impressed with how you guys have all taken it as a learning curve and are coming back next year. So good to see. We all know how easy this can be done as in the heat of the moment the simplest things can be forgetten.

Huge Huge thank you to all the organisers and sponsors, it was a great weekend spent with friends and its always good to catch up with people in the club over a coldy.
The tournament was run flawlessly by Cam and Rolly their organisation of both the rulings and getting a prize pool together like never seen before has reinstated the tournament to how they had it in 2011.
Andrew and I on his boat "Black Betty" stayed the night at White Island and managed a nice fish on Sunday which gave us 4th place a synit rod and ocea 4000p reel.
Ive carried my rod around all week showing people :-) bring on white next week yeehaa!
Big thanks to Graeme and Chloe your rod will be well looked after for many years to come, it was great to catch up with you on both Friday and Sunday mate.
Bring on 2014!
Dont get huge get massive
