Hi Jono, had the same idea as you. Went with the Jigstar braid in the end....only a little thicker diameter than the whiplash which is one of the thinnest aye. Got mine from Kane at Decoro to put on the accurate pitbull 600n. About 450m of 80lb on there.

I really like the Gosen braid that Greg from GoFish brings in.

Jono, you should be wary of picking purely on line diameter. Thin lines have less abrasion resistance and tend to be expensive too. It doesn't take much to nick a line and suddenly use lose 100m or so. These days I take into consideration diameter, strength and durability. If you want line capacity, buy a larger reel.
I know this is not helpful to you but I've gone through this before and now do the sensible thing.

Hi Jim, i can't remember the exact diameter but you can get exactly 300m spool of PE8 100lb on an Accurate 600nn.
The other reason I use Gosen is based on my experience in March last year when I hooked a Marlin which ended up tail wrapped not the leader but the braid. It remained that way for a good 20 mins until our skipper drove round in two circles to undo the wrapped line. The whole time this was going on I was expecting the braid to giveaway but it didn't & an hour latter I landed the fish, 109kg Strip Marlin. How many braids would have handled that?

Fair call bro but a big difference between leader of any weight & braid under load but to be honest the Gosen is also well priced & I like dealing with Greg cause he's always bringing in new products & he's a good bugger.
I even use it for all my casting reels even though it's branded as jigging braid.

The new Shimano Ocea EX8 braid is ridiculously thin and smooth. Pricey though.
