There is plenty of good squab material here at work, if you know someone who can make some canvas covers.... Bobs your Uncle. Failing that you could always try the warehouse, brunscoes or fish city.....
Can you sew Si??? The squab material here came in a packing crate and is about 60 x 70cm, by 35mm thick. Very easy to cut down and make into squabs. Ideally you would make a cover for it..... a very cheap but effective way of doing it..... then again I was brought up to make the most of what you have around. Have you tried looking up canvas covering..etc. Shouldn't be too hard to locate a few squabs???
They will get soaked back there, not to mention the bait and berley they will get covered in.
Then when someone sits on them they will get a soggy bum at best.
If not dried out they will stink and rot. KISS - keep it simple Si.

The squabs I'm after are the vinyl covered jobbies.
Yellow...plasticy...... of course he's make the boat look gimpy as well.
Perhaps it should have a name change to Si's gimpy boat.
I need some too. I could do to replace the bunk squabs as well.
North Shore Canvas sounds a bit, well, north shore for me. Anyone know of anywhere closer or someone handy with a sail-cloth needle?
Chris
Theres a place in Pukekohe Grounded.
Try Cairnwood in Nelson Street in Pukekohe - They have most of the gear you'll need Grounded.
