Also reckon they could use retrofit the Plastic Waka afters its 11 days of usefullness come to an end and at 2mill that would surely triple the Navy defense budget.  We could park it out off wahike or something to let all comers now we mean buisness.

NZ Navy does a great job working with MFish to actively stop and catch poachers. So hush to all you haters

Can't be our navy. It's got more than 1 gun. Although I do understand that they are interested in the alternative propulsion shown as their engines keep breaking.

Shot Gundry (aka 'the man')! You are obviously proud to be a Kiwi, and so appreciate the work that goes on to protect NZs fisheries. Do you think the NZ navy has any choice as to how combat ready it can be, when it has to spend what little money the govt gives it, to meet both our international obligations and ensure our coasts are protected.

Maybe next time you decide to bag on your own navy or country for that matter, make sure you know what your talking about, and possibly even consider why it is that way?

 Happy Diving.

Sure theyre funny, I think it is also amusing  to compare our navy to others. However, on a forum like this I just would have thought that choosing to 'hate on' the navy is a little unecessary?

Same could be said for Gundry not two days ago? In all jokes there is a hint of malice and if you wanna take the piss, then expect someone to get the wrong end of it. Ask JRDO.

Like the photos - nice - funny - but change the name and delete NEW ZEALAND  navy from the header!

as has been said they are NOT responsible for their budget the idiots in wellington are.

They do as I am sure we all agree a great job with the rubbish funding they get - and have done for as long as I can remember.

People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it!

I'm sure Gundry meant no offence to the Navy and appreciates the hard work they do protecting the coast from poachers etc as I'm sure we all appreciate :)
