The rock was unchartered, but came to within 16metres of the surface. As the submarines name was Anchorite, the rock was named after it.
The guys in the submarine must have wondered what the hell they hit.
Be interesting to know if any of the local fishermen, knew of the rocks's existance before the submarine came along and tried to move it. |
