had a cool weekend away with three of them
and just upgraded my 3500 into a 4200


buy one! if you have to put a sun shelter on id go for a t top be aware though that they put alot of side ways stress on the floor! when buying new go over the boat with a straight edge to check it hasn't blown out when taken out if the mold

ha yeah there are another two In my outer friend group as well, i didn't want a green one as I felt it would be to military lol,

we only stickbait soft bait micro jig etc so are constantly casting and moving, never sitting around so never been bothered with bimnis etc as they are very restrictive

When I sold my Gemini, this was the boat I was going to buy as there has not been a single Haines 445 for sale in 12 months.

I was going to go the CC T top and put clears from the t top but down the sides of the console and to the back of the T top. Of course that would take a lot of care not to be tearing the tie dows etc. Only use when needed etc.

There is a short leg version of the 4200, i think usually made for the tiller steer option, but go for the long leg if you can, whilst unlikely, it keeps your transom nice and high from wake surge, following seas etc. Of course a good bilge should make short work of the conditions you would be using a 4200 in.

My only concern with poly boat was earlier models use to deform. But Im pretty sure SW put metal stringers in them?

I also really like the Mac 420 CC. Much lower sides and transom, but makes a great spearing and island hopping boat. Even the mac 360 jockey console is an amazing little 2 person boat.

Why, hello there. In my absence these last few weeks, I've been busy taking delivery of my brand new SW4200! The good guys at Silverdale Marine did me a real good deal - thanks guys. Centre console, 50hp two stroke Tohatsu, anchor kit, boarding ladder & power switches - a shade over $20k. I've since added a 7" Lowrance GPS/fishfinder/depth thingy.
