Andrew McDonald , one of our clubs snapper experts warmed up nicely for our big trip next week , with a superb 8.6kg snapper speared at OPito Bay , Coromandel. It was asleep sitting on a weed edge and was not alone. The boys reported quite a number of snapper hanging around and they speared a number of pan sized fish.Vis not great 4-6 meters.
