It seems to me the monthly toilet seat award has lost some of its "luster"

A combination of things,

• Some People taking winning it too seriously,
• me finding it hard to award it to anyone except Ski or Bushpig
• Bushpig being the rightful recipient 3 months in a row
• Decline in dummys available to babies because winners have spat them so far no one can find them

So, while having a quiet beer with the lads Thursday night someone made what I think is a great suggestion.

A "pass it on" format. i.e, you win it one month you pick who wins it the next.

This way there should be a more even spread of recipients.

If the designated "givee" does not pick a winner I would step in and give it to Bushpig, or Ski, as thats all Im capable of.......

As it happens Phats thems the rules for the Builders toilet seat as it stands now.

This means anyone can nominate a punters but the current holder is the sole judge and if he needs assistance a committee from the previous three holders will assist.

I dont think the monthly seat has lost anything and must be retained although some of the previous holders have left some residual stains. The main reason that this trophy is not more widly distributed is that many new members live in fear of the public trashing they expect when awarded this trophy.

Realistically it is and should continue to be a bit of harmless fun!
