yep saw it on the news and wondered why.
In fact wondered a bit more than why.

Where's Graham McCready,  this would be a better case for him

On the surface it looks damn rotten, however you'd need to know a lot more about the case than we would see in media reportage before you can make a decent judgement, you can only hope the judge has had that info.
Should the verdict be because of political correctness, then that sucks, but if it is a case of disproportionate punishment for a relatively minor offence, then fair enough.
It is only my overwhelming natural humility that mars my perfection.

I don't call being stoped when driving and being double the drink drive limit a "minor" offence. If you or I were in the same position we would, quite rightly, lose our licence. I don't care who's son he is, the law is the law.

Yes, I wrote that wrong. I mean't to say anyone else would have been prosecuted. Who you are should not affect the treatment you get in court.

COME ON GUYS KNOW THE FACTS 1ST his co-offenders got away with a warning so why should this be any different yes to DIC but without convicting them all for the same crime it is a little unfair, my wife a Maori was disgusted with this finding and we had a wee arguent about it, I dont condone it believe me but fairs fair and it was not because he is a potential king eith but in saying that he is a legend half god half wit, what a role model for his proposed potential

His co-offenders were not on bail at the time they stole other peoples stuff. This little criminal was on bail already when he continued to show utter contempt for the law and other people by continuing to break the law!

That's is the difference between him and the others. Will you be so understanding if it's your family he kills on the roads, or your house he breaks into to take your possessions.

Little criminal needs to learn their are consequences for his actions before he succeeds in ruining other peoples lives, regardless of who his father is!

The laws of this country should apply equally to everyone who lives/visits here.
When the person involved has previously been found to have infringed and is already under bail conditions but offends again, a slap on the hand with a wet bus ticket because of societal position just doesn't cut it IMO.....

In 2011, Paki faced boy-racer charges after the Mitsubishi Lancer he drove lost traction and crashed into a power pole in Huntly. Witnesses said he was lucky to survive.

Must be his first offence pjc. He isn't allowed to have any criminal history because then he can't be King.

I have been having a quiet chuckle over this one. So the Kings representatives (or whoever they are) convince the judge that Paki won't be able to be King if he isn't purer than driven snow. What I haven't quite worked out though is how the lack of a recorded conviction changes anything that the little bugger has done. That's like saying a thief isn't a thief unless he gets caught. Well we all know that ain't right, so why is this any different. Seems like just a gullible, over PC judge doesn't it?

That's EXACTLY why he didn't have a conviction recorded. The judge said as much. Wrong if you ask me - especially as he was on bail at the time.
