have had a play with these and they have worked very well.

Nice one! Like the pricing, length, weight and colours Chris, anyone would think you were deliberately getting a stick bait for kiwi fishos targeting kings.

Rather than one really suited to tropical fish we don't see much of in our waters!

I have had the misfortune of being bitten by a marlin ( I know I know, what an idiot, but in my defense I really wanted my sons home made trolling  lure back!!! It FN hurt  ) And they are capable of squashing lots of things stronger than fingers. The lure I caught the marlin on is only slightly grazed, the paint job held up very very well and Chris still has the lure which despite the marlins best efforts did not break. These lures are very strong, and well built, they swim well........oh and fish dont mind eating em as well

Not big fish sadly.... but the big fish that nailed the bluey later, kept it dammit!
Very good lures, good for a long sweeping action.

Edit:- the pinkie I had there is the floating version, which was great, being hot pink I was able to see just where the lure was, made it a bit more fun I reckon. I had I think 3 casts with the blue/black/silver jobbie, first cast nuthin', second cast the little GT, third cast a huge white hole in the ocean and a long unstopable run around a bommie, bugger it! After that I was way more circumspect about using the pinkie, it still survives up there awaiting my return in January.
It was good to have them along though, in combination with the R2C doggies I also used, as Chris's lures here I found worked really nicely in a long, sweeping action that got the lure in pretty quick, and the doggies I found were only to be used with a slow, short action. Meant you had a range of lures and actions to use on the fish.
The lures are very nicely solid I found, the pinkie got..... I tihnk about 5-6 fish all told, without any major damage to the paintwork or anything either, which was pleasing.
I certainly want to take a few more of those with me next time I head off!

I saw the koheru, and just pounced on it, it is plain sexy i reckon. The same with the pink. Might grab the kahawai one too, and the blue-pink, well, it is starting ot talk to me as well. So many lures, so little time to play with them! sighhhhhhh...
