Different brands build different things and I have found a few off the shelf that work well for me. You could see if they can cut the end back slightly off the one you have.. I have had this done to one of mine and it made a huge difference without effecting the action of the rod. I can give you a number for this if you want just give me a bell

It doesn't matter if it's a spin, conventional overhead or spiral wrap you all need a rod that allows you to fight the fish and not fight the rod. No off the shelf rod will be a perfect fit as the female skeleton dimensions are proportionally different to the male and sorry but all off the shelf jig rods are designed for the male frame... Even a short male has a larger muscle mass across the top of the shoulders and lower back which allows him better leverage on the rod.... Not all bad for you though as you can use technique rather than Brute strength..... Girls to talk to are Kelly Wibley, Nicky Sinden, Janelle Bruce, Hilary Kerns or CJ.... They all have jigging rods designed especially for them and all are different lengths and weight classes..... Hurt the fish not yourself... |
