One of those roll bags looks the ticket, I don't normally take my precision bag since it is just one more bag to put somewhere in the boat.

I just made my own roll up bag, using some sturdy plastic lined canvas from an old chefs apron bbq kit i got given once.

Fold up a length and sew in pockets. I made some pockets smaller for light poppers/stickbaits.

As an aside, anyone know where you can buy the pvc mesh material that are used in some jug bags? would like to make the next version out of it so I can just hose the whole lot down...

Snap top plastic box, 30 cm x 15 x 12 or so = $5.95 from the Warehouse. Smaller one for taking out onto the rocks, fits 270mm gamma and a few smaller ones. Save the $110 for a decent lure...

I have just bought one of these for my fishing tackle  http://www.fco.co.nz/online-store/products/Rogue-Trekking-Tackle-Bag.aspx?pid=223495&menuFrom=30602#Cross  It has five plastic trays in the middle of it, each in a fixed in shelf so you can remove any box without all the others falling down.  It also keeps the boxes upright, not on their side.  The trays it comes with can fit up to 6 Halco Rooster sized lures in, the divisions go front to back.  I bought a replacement tray from storage box that has the divisions going end to end which will fit up to about 27cm long in and holds three lures.  This is a common size, and lots of plastic trays fit.  You can also fit this in place of one of the boxes http://www.fco.co.nz/online-store/products/Rogue-Double-Sided-Tackle-Tray.aspx?pid=223502&menuFrom=30601#Combo which is handy for smaller lures and I also have slow jigs in it.  As the amount of tackle I have increases I'm planning to have trays set up for different types of fishing and just take whichever ones I need out with me.  Also handy that it's a backpack for any rock fishing trips.  But what finally swung it was being $40 off at the moment.  The only slight criticism so far is the bottom pocket, once you open the zip there is nothing to hold up the weight of the rest of the tackle bag -which can be quite a bit if you have filled up all the trays.  I have put a wooden base in here with two supports glued on, which seems to work well.

Yeah chris whats the damage on one of these and how many stickies and pops can they hold at a maximum you recon?
