Recently took my 8ft 2 piece Offshore Illusion into Warren Hay. The rod top piece had developed a miniscule 0.5 mm wide tiny little peel , 5mm long strip, on the base of the top piece where it joins into the butt section. To be honest I was not really expecting anything at all, just wanted to see if it was something to be worried about, and if there was anything I could do if it should get worse.

Warrens crew sent it back to Leon at Offshore. Time elapse. Leon sends back a brand new rod complete with new K series Fuji casting guides and a very nice new blingy weave.

So massively big 'ups' to Leon at Offshore. NZ rod builder, building on NZ made CTS blanks, standing by their quality product and producing what I believe is the most reasonably priced top water rod in the market. Cheur to the chur chur!

Go LeonClapLOLit is nice to know you helped this man out. I own about 12  offshore rods and find them a pleasure to use, on a recent trip to Samoa a 50lb plus gt was caught on my 7/6 popper rod and I must say it handled it well
