Just got an E-mail from MC works Japan. Japanese angler landed a Marlin on the stick bait rod in Japanese sea on a charter boat.
Rod model- SEVEN MILES 868HR 100KG OVER TUNA LIMITED.

Epic. I was casting a stickbait around when we got our big stripey last year. Managed one in Cabo on a baby runboh but hook and hands on tiny fish don't count. I'm too scared to get my carpenter lures wet!
