The plan is .....I figure an inflatable is the go for floundering in that the buoyancy is all along the sides which makes it ideal for me hanging over it lookin for fish .Lights ,glass box (fridge glass shelf and a plastic box )and spears are sorted but Im wanting a small chartplotter. The plan is to go out during the day and plot trails that mark out the deeper bits (oh , forgot to say Ill be in the Riverton tidal estuary ) during the day so when I go sneakin back at night Im not going to run out of water. Mostly I will let the tide push me in and out .
Anyone reccomend a small plotter or got one you dont want . I have a hook reveal 9ts but I cant be arsed fitting that to an inflatable .

The off line ones need to be on line , the free ones ....arnt ( go thru all the sign up bulls hit and then the cnuts want my credit card ...coz its only a free months trial and they dont tell you that untill you have given them all your info )( navonics ) they even managed to get some adds in there before I kicked them out .

Yeah MB ๐Ÿ˜ ,Im trying to stay with google play/store because I think Im less likely to have issues with them ( maybe not ) .
Im sure there are some good apps , can you recommend one you or a friend have used ?
I tried fishbrain. But apparently my device is " not compatible " (android something ).
Part of the issue is that I got pissed (Benedictine )and arsed up on my laptop and bent the screen ......so Im on the smart ph and its driving me nuts ๐Ÿ˜ ,I cannot for the life of me see why they cant all be the ๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿคฌ same๐Ÿ˜and they aint made for pudgy fingers.
Thanks for your replies ๐Ÿ™‚

Iโ€™ve got one of these in my 12 footer, 12v motor bike battery in a systema container works fine no problems, Railblazer make a stick on mount for inflatable boats with a mount for the transducer.

It was annoying when Navionics hiked their fees. I bought the app a while back and now the subscription has gone out of date, it still works, but I have lost relief shading. An alternative would be ActiveCaptain by Garmin. It's free, but I'm not sure if it will work if you don't have a Garmin device, but nothing to lose by trying. Otherwise, there are other offline mapping apps which won't show you marine charts, but they will allow you to retrace your steps.  NZ Topo50 is very good, but there are many others.
