I bought the app a while back and now the subscription has gone out of date, it still works, but I have lost relief shading. An alternative would be ActiveCaptain by Garmin. It's free, but I'm not sure if it will work if you don't have a Garmin device, but nothing to lose by trying. Otherwise, there are other offline mapping apps which won't show you marine charts, but they will allow you to retrace your steps. NZ Topo50 is very good, but there are many others.

The plan is to go out during the day and plot trails that mark out the deeper bits (oh , forgot to say Ill be in the Riverton tidal estuary ) during the day so when I go sneakin back at night Im not going to run out of water. Mostly I will let the tide push me in and out .
Anyone reccomend a small plotter or got one you dont want . I have a hook reveal 9ts but I cant be arsed fitting that to an inflatable .
