Is this still looked after by DOC?

I've just been on their website to find out it there's any gates blocking access to the creek for launching the boat next week, and there's nothing about Tapotupotu at all apart from scenic walks.

Any thoughts boys and girls.

Also how far is that ledge I keep seeing when I do searches?

Any other thoughts on fishing near there, if the weather is crap next week while I'm up that way, I need somewhere to fish?
Yes it was me, I screwed it up for everyone.

Still a campsite.

If it's rough there's the parengarenga harbour, you can get a key at Te Kao store to launch by the Paua wharf.

I think the ledge you're asking about can be seen in the left of the pic in the link. About a 5 minute walk from the campsite.

Thanks Ross, appreciate it.

Don't know if that's the ledge, but it's certainly work a crack and being that close to the beach I wonder if it gets hammered?
Yes it was me, I screwed it up for everyone.

There were about 4 different access points to the creek thing last time I was there. On a high tide the one right at the back might be easiest depending on size of boat.
