We love the FC Boats so stuck with the slightly bigger model

Definetly smooths out the ride when trolling,
And does provide value on the plane.

Anything is better than nothing.
There are also some pretty clever foams such as closed cell foam in different densities.
Worth consideration.

A good Cushion is never a bad thing ether will probably do that also

Did this for a fathers day present a while back in the 520lazercraft. Was something like 250bucks for the gas pedestal and 300 odd for the big fancy seat.

Found the big fancy seat made a huge difference and the gas pedestal works a treat for my father.

Whenever the new boat turns up that my parents are having built ill be able to confirm or deny whether the big chair is the difference or not as only the small hitech seats fit in the new toy. Will be creating a thread on the new boat when its in our ownership and covering everything on it for the benefit of others in the future.

Also theres a screw in the gas bit in the lazer that adjusts the weight required to make the pedestal sponge to avoid bottoming out so to speak. So the drivers seat is useless for mum as shes 30kgs lighter than Dad 😂

From reading the scientific research on these I can tell you that if you bottom out on a suspension seat, it will magnify the force, and can even be worse than going without. A lot depends on your weight and the g force involved, vs what the gas ram can handle. They don't last forever either.
