Cheers ripples those comps are always fun.

Smudge still very hard to get to these posts.

Me and the young fella been going strong all summer. Also up the far north where he managed a nice snap and trev , photo below.

Couple weeks back he managed a pb snap at 50cm photo below.

The last few trips have been very successful with me netting a snap at 70cm and plenty of full bags to boot. All on the softbait all in 6m or less at OP. Will try and do better with up to date posts

Out from Mission bay this evening. Went to the red marker by Mission & Kohi. Never fished this area before
Had a quick looksie for some structure.
Thawed out homemade berley off the side of the yak
Was very slow going. Only a slight current at 2.6m & a lumpy sea in that easterly... . could hear people talking along Tamaki drive
Lots of undersize. Took home 4 snaps. 46cm was best today, caught just after sunset. No takers on the sabiki rig
The snaps were in good condition, but sure are skinny compared to the Manukau fatties of same sizes
Small fresh mullet 2 frozen macks & 2 pillies for todays sesh.... using small baits seem to do the trick
