Surfcasting report

On the last moki trip (23rd jan) we caught 9 moki to 3.5kg and a dozen nice tarakihi for a couple of hours fishing around karori light.

Surfcasters are having good moki catches on the sth coast and spotty sharks almost everywhere. Some good snapper fishing has been had in evans bay recently. jan 3rd there were 2 over 10lb caught on miramar wharf andsome nice ones have benn caught of cobham drive.

A 15kg kingfish was taken off Oriental bay recently and also a 6.5kg moki.

Peiter van nistlerooy caught a 6kg moki at lake ferry in early jan.
