Rigs - Dropper Rig's

With the popularity, and cost, of the many available pre tied "flasher" type rigs now, it can be a costly day to loose a few through snags. I crimp a loop on the bottom of each rig, prior to depature, usually whilst they are still in the packaging, allowing the quick changing of sinkers to suit the ever changing fishing conditions.

Also whilst at home I also pre rig various sinker weights with 2kg mono, leaving a loop that can be threaded through the crimped loop at the bottom of the flasher rigs or traces, allowing easy sinker changing, but also a light connecting line that will break well before the trace. Any snags typically result in the loss of the sinker only.

Cost/gear saving is an advantage, the ability to change sinker weights quickly, particularly whilst fishing in channels, keeps you fishing longer, more effectively and improves results.
