Livebaits - catching & storing

Try this... Use a net washing basket, the ones which fold up into pocket size. I normally keep one in my jacket pocket.

Stitch the top opening using light nylon so that its smaller, and tie on to rope or line to hold it (make sure when you lift it the opening is on top.). Then put bread in the pocket (I cut the pocket off and suspend it in the centre with line),

Lower it into water soon you will have live bait in it (or catch and throw them in). lift it halfway out of the water (tie it to the side of boat or rocks, with cord or nylon) with livies in it, needless to say panicking fish send out signals (the more panicking fish the stronger the signals), soon you'll have kingies checking out what’s for dinner. Fishing off the rocks? try it. Keeps catch fresh as well.

Try this, tie fish heads inside weight it down and lowering it to the bottom near rocks or reefs, (could tie to anchor) tie infront of boat or float rope on bouy, continue fishing and ignore for 30min then pull it up, yip!! you can catch crays in them).

Yes, they tear and get stuck occasionally (although mine is a year old) but for 2-3 bucks can't go wrong. You have to engineer it a bit to make it work, trial and error. Have fun exploring its limitless usages.

PS: Found in most $2 shops and supermarkets around washing detergents. I know you'd like the pink/yellow sides but choose black!!
