When using light braid 4-8kg, I have found that using the clinch knot especially to a swivel is good but have had it break when handling a large fish. I have found by doubling the braid and making a standard Clinch Knot the breaking strain is greatly increased and is still very tidy. I would recommend it for heavier braids as well.
