Anyone know a place that will smoke some fish for me ? My Warehouse special smoker is a bit small

Preferably Auckland East .

well i must confess i totally piged out last night on smoked fish....... this fish feed at least 20 people last night at work an still more got a taste of it......

pland     you can take fish to most fish shops and they will send off your fish to get smoked. it costs around 3 dollars each fish but because they smoke lots of fish you dont get the fish you sent in. i gave them two 15 pound snappers and they gave me two small ones back    , if your fish are to big, fillet the fish and smoke them . leave on the skin.    wrecker

I go for the expensive option and try to catch it. Thanks for resurrecting this post - I wanted that fish smoking address and couldn't find it.

Nobody has ever come up with a great idea after a second bottle of water.

Hi Pland

Marsic Borthers in Glen Innes (GI) smoke fish for me regularly. Hot, wood-fire smoke in a huge smokehouse in MayFair Place - the GI shopping centre..  Ph 528 9556.

you can try any home kill butcher with there own processing shop, they are very helpful, look in the yellow pages in your area.most are great at smoking  
(%) and she thinks that will stop me

CJ.......Barrie kept saying to me on Sunday that he wanted to catch a nice big smoked fish.....I didn't have the heart to tell him they weren't like that when they were caught
