That's not normal. My Innovation goes for hours but then I fill the bags then seal them rather than fill a heap and seal a heap. What are you doing Roy?

Islander, how did you get on? As others have said bags are cheaper on line, there is an on line NZ supplier that's pretty good too but forgot their name.

Have learned to just slow down and cool the heat strip with a cold water rinsed towel. Will try the sealing 2 at a time.

 Im pretty sure the heat thing is on the tranformers inside to the heat strips, not the actual heat strips.
 Thu keeping them clean certainly makes a difference in reliable seals.
