looking at building up a medium spec softbait setup for friends family to use as i dont fish bait.and friends dont have anything suitable for softplastics

looking at the starlo jungle stix in the 4-10kg i know the original starlo stix was held in high regard.anyone with experience with this new variant?thoughts?

also liking the look of the quantum smoke in 30 size.i just got my partner a okuma trio in 30 size and really like all the cutaways etc.havnt used it in anger yet so yet to see what its like under load but the quantum looks to be a better version essentially and dirt cheap from states.again any people playing with these?
cheers

your right about the Starlo tournament pros being in high regard. I now use a yeehaa custom and still struggle to let my starlo go. haven't had any attachments experience with the new ones yet however

The smokes are pretty good reels for the price, heaps of nice smooth drag, good line capacity too

well i ended up buying myself the starlo jungle as a xmas pressent.didnt get to really load it up but with the fishing i have done so far im not overly impressed.i think the new nano status is a better buy at only 30buxs more(also have).
i bought my partner a okuma nano matrix rod and a okuma trio 30.i was more impressed with that.think it could almost be the best medium spec softplastic combo.cant rate it enough for what i paid
