Yeah I am interested too - the smallest one would be a nice replacement for my soft-bait reel when it finally gives up the ghost.

I've got a 12000 d for Christmas.  Love it but haven't put it through its paces yet.  Not through want of trying though.  It's a big bugger but goes well with my 10-15kg Shimano Triton rod.
One thing which irks is that both the bail arm and the bait runner lever don't flip all the way back when engaging the handle.  The bail arm doesn't always return fully and once or twice has subsequently sprung back when there's pressure on the line.  With the bait runner lever, it doesn't always go back fully but it does engage the mechanism.  So no dramas but for the kind of top level reel it is you don't expect that.  I took the bail arm mechanism apart and re lubed it with thinner oil and works better now.
But I can't wait to lay into a big fish. Must try again at any oportunity.

ALso haven't put it through the pace son a big fish (story of my summer) but I have an 8000D, not experiencing the same trouble with the baitrunner, or bail arm as fisher though - still got receipt - should have 10 year warranty - get it checked out mate.

I have the 8000, which I use on a yak. it gets a fair bit of water thrown at it and as yet i haven't had a problem with it. It does get sprayed with salt away and a gentle hose before bed time. haven't had any big hookups with it yet - 10lb snapper and small tuna. Drag is very smooth and it makes a nice sound when it's getting peeled out on the bait runner.
