I have been using inox for many years on my fishing reels, gear, trailer, many things, and have never found it harmful to mono. I have one reel recently spoiled with braid, what lube product are people using, find any product harms braid?

I use CRC Multilube gel on all external parts of my reels and rods, the stuff is excellent.
I don't spray directly I spray onto a rag then wipe everything with it.
Been using for a couple of years now with no bad effects on braid, plastic,rubber or paint.

INOX is a food grade grease/ oil designed for the food industry machery, conveyers etc... and for areas that have nylon/ syntheic bushes.. eg your winch bushes and roller bushes on the trailer
The use of petroleum based products are either toxic, can cause contamination, and/ or will attack things like plastic bushes causing then to bind up.

The application has found use also in fishing gear for those same reasons, and avoidance of petroleum based products also for the same reasons.

Also note that INOX greases/oil come in several grades, from a gel type low pressure to heavier very high temp / pressure greases

I suspect your question is on the external surfaces only.

Mild soapy water on reels and rods.

Inox, as a surface wipe I would believe is acceptable.

Not a fan of crc products generally to chemically aggressive.

Natural oils are best for most components.

As mentioned before I'm a fan of nz natural lanolin.
Still cruising in my now sweetas pimped out Southern 755 HT0!

Yep Inox being food grade and I think sort of organic won't hurt your braid.

I used to smear vaseline on my reel spools as it is excellent at keeping the salt away...

Haven't noticed inox damaging braid, prefer lanox tho. Sprayed liberally over reel then wipe over everything you can. Admitedly liberally means try to avoid blastin line on spool with it. I Don't wash reels with soapy water, as it breaks down the oils and grease. Don't really need to if there is a nice coat of smoo over everthing

After a thorough rinse with fresh water I spray rod, reel and braid itself with a good silicone spray.

Not lube related per se but comes up from time to time on game fishing forums: don't get sunscreen on the rubberized handles of your game reels as it dissolves the rubber and turns it into a sticky mess
