Bump

hey guys - I have fished Bali a lot - I lived there for 13 months a couple years back and have written half a dozen articles on the region.  The most recent will be in the latest Fishing Wild magazine coming out in the next week or two if you can get your hands on it.  Bali / Lombok can be very rewarding for larger than average GT's if you fish with the right guide at the right time (moon phase) at the right time of year (October till aprox April).  Bali is rife with rip off tourist operators who promise the world and deliver very very little.  It's a technical place to fish but one of my very favorites around the world.  I am booke din to go back in feb, cant wait.  There are three competent boats, Explore, Kaiser and Adhek and by far Adhek is my favorite.  20 years of pioneering top water in that location has made his as close as you can get to an expert and his crew and boats are first class and designed for casting.  Drop him a bell on [email protected] and by all means drop my name you might get a good rte from him main man Komang who manages his operation.  Here are some blogs I did on fishing Bali in the past;
