Went for a look out from Tairua on Tuesday due to the weather forcast. Had a drift at a couple of possies for snapper with the softbaits, but no luckCry. Got 5 johnies thoTongueTongue. Headed to a terikihi spot that a mate had kindly pass on to me and it was firing, as soon as the baits (blood baits) hit the ground they were into emBig%20smile. My mate had a dive for scollies and said the water was very crappy, that might have something to do with the lack of snapper??

Nice work on the terrors and JD's - both are around in good numbers at the mo

snaps seem to be mainly be out on the sand at present and south is a good direction to head out of the harbour, out from Opoutere to the Dogger bank holding some good fish

N' joy. Got the terikihi in 28 metres, not far off the shore at all.
